Joe Jusko on "Where Monster's Dwell," April 14th! Live Radio Interview!
It's a live radio interview and you know what that means?
You can't bleep out everything, before the listening audience hears it, LOL, and anything could....and probably will... happen. :-)
This week, my friends at "Where Monster's Dwell" are interviewing one of my favorite painters in the industry, our friend Joe Jusko. And after traveling to numerous conventions with this fella, I can tell you, he has some stories to tell! Don't miss it. I won't! This should prove to be informative and entertaining.
Joe was the subject of one of the DVD's I co-produced last year, "Creator Chronicles: Joe Jusko," which featured an interview with the artist as well as tutorial (available from EvaInk@aol.com), but that interview alone was not enough to touch on all the experiences Joe has had as an artist working in comics, book covers, private commissions, sequential art, fine art, and more. Not even touching on his career as a police officer!
Joe is a natural for our new sketchbook from Eva Ink Publishing: "Joe Jusko: Savage Beauty" in your Diamond Catalogue now! A nice companion for the aforementioned DVD!
But I digress....Details on the radio show below!
(And when you have the chance, check out the achieved interviews with Michael Golden, Steve Scott and myself. Saved for posterity on the "Monster's" website, too. All interviews are available for listening 2 days after the show.)
Don't, if you possibly can, miss the LIVE experience!!

Another week, another creator interview courtesy of your friends at WMD.
This week we welcome painter/illustrator Joe Jusko to the Monster Cave(patent pending). The subject of the upcoming sketchbook from Eva Ink Publishing, "Joe Jusko: Savage Beauty," you've already seen Joe's work on Savage Sword of Conan, Heavy Metal Magazine, Captain America, Spiderman and more painted covers and trading cards than you could shake a billy club at. Speaking of billy clubs (we call that a segue in the radio biz, folks), Joe was once a New York City Police Officer! Should be an entertaining conversation.
Also this week: movie previews, new comics, Beat-The-Geeks and our own wrap up of Blackest Night.
THIS JUST IN: We'll also be giving away 2 pairs of tickets to the early bird premier of KICK-ASS. Wanna go see it a day early? Tune in, we got a set for the early & late show.
Have a question for Joe? Want to chime in on our Blackest Night segmento? Give us a call at 506-453-4949 or post your query/opinion on our Facebook wall.
Talk at you Wednesday!!
